Jeff Goodwin

Last week Jeff Goodwin came and talked to our Entrepreneurship class, sadly due to a stomach flu I was unable to attend his lecture. I have had the opportunity to read up on some of my classmates' blog post concerning Jeff Goodwin. The one point that Jeff talked about was it is possible to start a business your self with very little capital, to be exact Jeff did it twice with only $5000 starting investment. He also talked about to be successful you must find the perfect balance between getting too emotionally attached to your company and not getting attached enough. He also touched on a topic that I have taken to heart, you must get close to your customers. As with marketing you must build strong relationships with your clients to not only ensure a sale, but a returning customer later down the road.
